WORCESTER__ Robert Medina, Jr, 55, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center- Memorial Campus.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Aida E. Medina; his children, Lisa Marie Medina Ortiz, Jonathan Robert Medina, Amanda Elyset Medina, and Samantha Elyset (Lulu) Medina; his father, Roberto Medina, Sr.; brothers, David, Louie, Sammie, Alex and Chris; sisters, Lydie, Nandi, Sandra, and Alma; his mother-in-law, Victoria; sisters-in-law, Miriam, Olga, Sonia, Nilda, Lisa and Sandra; grandchildren, Bryan, Louie, Adrian, Manuel, Chris, Chantel, Ryan, Anthony, Jayla and Jazlin; many nieces and nephews; many friends; and all his dear brothers and sisters in Christ. He will also be missed by his pets, Rocky, Panther and Sonny.
Robert was predeceased by his mother, Carmen Medina in 2019; his brother, Hector in 2020; his brother-in-law, Jamie in 2013; and his father-in-law, Arcadio, who passed in March 2021.
He was raised in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY. Throughout his life, he worked in various positions and most recently cared for his father-in-law as a personal care attendant. Robert had a heart of gold, and his family, friends and faith in Jesus Christ were the center of his life. He will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11 A.M. at DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester. The funeral service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website. Calling hours are Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery.
