Donald J. Belanger, age 70, of Attleboro, passed away, unexpectedly, upon arrival, at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Jill A. (Simkins) Belanger, to whom he was wed for twenty-eight years.
Born in Soldier Pond, Maine on November 21, 1950, he was a loving son of Viola (Theriault) Belanger of Southington, CT and the late Ronaldo Belanger.
Don grew up and was educated in Southington, CT. He had made his home in Attleboro for the past twenty years and worked as a car salesman for various area dealerships.
Don loved spending time with his family and ever so proud of his daughters. He loved fishing, was an avid sports enthusiast and of course being a Connecticut native, his favorite teams were the New York Yankees and New York Giants.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his devoted daughters: Breanna L. Belanger and her fiancé Chandler Robertson of Grand Junction, Colorado and Brandy L. Belanger of North Attleboro. He was the dear brother of Gary Belanger and his wife Nancy of Southington, CT, Brian Belanger and his wife Rene of Bristol, CT and the late Bruce Belanger. Hr is also survived by his brother-in-law Mark Simkins and his wife Josephine of Attleboro, as well as his loving nieces and nephews.
At the present time there are no services planned and visiting hours are omitted.
