Yvonne C. Robinson, 66, of Pawcatuck went home to the Lord Saturday, May 8, 2021.
She was born in Bronx, New York on November 11, 1954 the daughter of Peter Martinez and Naldi (Castro) Wilson.
She was a devoted member of Pleasant Street Baptist Church. Her bible was never too far from her side. She loved to cook for the community. She was most known for her "Mac and Cheese". She nurtured many children throughout the years. She enjoyed talking on phone, crossword puzzles and watching Lifetime.
Yvonne will be truly missed by her 4 children: Sholeen Robinson, Adrina Robinson, Derrick Robinson, Shawn Robinson.
She is survived by her siblings: Yvette, Raymond, Dewayne, Kenny, Brian, and Jackie; Her adopted daughter Raylene and her Ellis Children: Debra, George, Vanessa, Joseph, Michael, Michelle.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Satasha, David, Denzel, Adrina, Divona, Shamon, Sharnyse, Tymeisha, Isiah, Tyanna, Aliyah, Mariah, Derrick, Devin, Charlece, Chance, Raven, Jaelyn, Alyssa, Brittany, Lemek, Derek, Gemel, Geary, Rayshawn, Josh, Jason and a host of great-grandchildren.
Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Micheal Robinson, her mother Naldi Wilson, her sister Annette Wilson and daughter Erica Ellis.
The family will greet family and friends on Saturday, May 22, from 10 to 11:30am at Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A service will follow immediately at 11:30am at the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family.
