Obituary

Auburn – Janice B. (Frew) Miles, 88, of Auburn and formerly of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Lifecare Center of Auburn after a long illness.

Mrs. Miles was married to the late Harold Miles, who died in 1996. She is survived by two sons, Neil Miles of Worcester and Keith Miles of Webster; two daughters, Terry Lewis of Auburn and Lynn Turgeon of Fitchburg; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchild and nephews and a niece.

Janice was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Walter and Yvonne (Maurais) Frew and is also predeceased by a sister, Beverly Roberge and an aunt, Eileen Langlois.

Mrs. Miles worked for many years as a health assistant and was a member of Saint Peter's Church. She was a former member of the Saint Joseph Church in Auburn. Janice was the happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends while at the Lifecare Center of Auburn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 11AM in Saint Peter’s Church 929 Main St. Worcester. Burial will be at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 before her funeral mass at Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Janice may be made to Residents Activity Department at Lifecare Center of Auburn 14 Masonic Circle Auburn, MA 01501.
