George Dizazzo, 56, of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Annmarie (Perkins) Dizzazo, with whom he celebrated their Thirteenth Wedding Anniversary last year.
A son of the late Samuel and the late Dorothy (O’Toole) Dizazzo, he was born June 26, 1964, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Greater Lowell Vocational High School. He made his lifelong Home in Lowell and had resided in Pawtucketville for the past sixteen years. He worked as a customer service representative AT Lowe's for several years.
George loved time spent with family. He also enjoyed baseball, softball, bowling and basically loved all sports. In his younger days, he helped to coach his daughter's sports teams. In addition, he had a passion for wolves as well as wrestling. In addition he was a volunteer at the Salvation Army, ringing the bell at Christmas time. He also volunteered as a cook at the Renaissance Club for over twenty years.
Besides his loving wife, Annmarie, he is survived by his daughter, Samantha Perkins and her partner, Joseph Cabozzi, of Lowell; his sisters, Rose Brunelle and her husband, Michael, of Lowell, and Anna Jackson of Billerica; his brother, David DeLuca and his wife, Lisa, of Lowell; his lifelong best friend, Frank Milot of Lowell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
While practicing social distancing guidelines and wearing a mask, you are invited to His Visitation 3 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, at the MCDONOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 14 HIGHLAND STREET, LOWELL 978-458-6816. His Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 6 p. m. In lieu of flowers, George’s family asks that donations be made in his name to the Renaissance Club, 176 Walker Street, 2nd Floor, Lowell MA 01854.
