Obituary

Domenic Magno, age 74, passed away at Care One Nursing and Rehab in Weymouth on May 11, 2021. Born and raised in Orsogna, Italy, he was the son of the late Filippo and Teresina (Scenna) Magno. He came to the United States at the age of 8 and lived on Charter St. in Boston’s North End. He worked for Gillette Corporation and Colonial Provisions. He later worked as a chef in the Restaurant business. He was a devoted husband, loving father and dear partner. Domenic enjoyed travelling, taking occasional trips to the casino and to Las Vegas. He enjoyed cruised and visiting Florida, Bermuda and Canada.

The beloved husband of the late Linda J. (Bacigalupo) Magno, he was the beloved partner of Christine J. (Lauretano) Bacigalupo. The loving father of Lisa G. Magno of Medford, he was a dear brother of Lucia Pezzano and her husband Frank of Stoneham, uncle of Anthony and Lucia and great-uncle of Mario. He was the brother-in-law of Robert Bacigalupo, and Marie A. Schacht of South Boston and God-father of Tara L. Schacht of Braintree. Domenic is also survived by many cousins in Italy and Canada.

Domenic’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday, May 20th at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours will be Wednesday 4 – 7 PM. Please follow social distancing protocols while attending services.
