Sandra Browning Stone, 72, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at Vanceville Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. Steve Hand officiating. Mrs. Stone will be laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Vanceville Congregational Christian Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Jacob Stone, Nathan Stone, Tommy Ross Vance, Sam Vance, Wyc Vance and Casen Stone will serve as pallbearers.
Born May 24, 1948 in Berrien County, Mrs. Stone was the daughter of the late Melvin Browning and Inez Robinson Browning. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lee Stone; and one brother, William Browning. She was a homemaker and a member of Vanceville Congregational Christian Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and she enjoyed cooking, swimming, fishing and embroidery.
Mrs. Stone is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Shane and Justine Stone and Zach and Sarah Stone, all of Tifton; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Hope Vance, and Ashly and Boone Webster, all of Tifton and Brittany Anna and Michael Morgan of Atlanta; one son-in-law, Wycliffe Vance of Tifton; one brother, Mel Browning of Nashville; two sisters, Christy Rowe and Judy Hill, both of Nashville; thirteen grandchildren, Steven Connell and his wife Audrey, Tommy Ross Vance and his wife Anna, Jacob Stone, Nathan Stone, Sam Vance, Wyc Vance, Casen Stone, Sutton Webster, Ali Stone, Lana Stone, Millee Webster, Zeb Webster and Elli Ruth Stone; and two great-grandchildren, Holden Connell and Harrison Connell.
