Nina Swift Kamuda, 70, of Tift Towers in Tifton, died Thursday, March 23, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Sonrise Chapel on Tift Avenue in Tifton. Rev. Tom Bundrick will officiate with burial to follow in Oakridge Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 30, 2006, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Ms. Kamuda was born on January 19, 1936 in Cohocton, New York and was the daughter of Gerald Swift and Mary Elizabeth Niles Swift, both deceased. She was a retired steel plant worker and attended Sonrise Chapel.
Ms. Kamuda is survived by three sons, Kirk Westfall of Florida, Karl Westfall of Atlanta and Grant Campbell of North Carolina; six daughters, Kathy Williams of Tifton, Tina Hall of Nashville, Cindy Tenorio of Tifton, Bonnie Westfall of Florida, Valerie Doran of Nashville and Annette Rubright of Tifton; four brothers, Dick Swift of New York, Jerry Swift of New York, Marvin Swift of New York and Alfred Swift of Washington State; one sister, Linda Swift of New York; 30 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
