Age 82 of Grant, MN, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by parents, Gerald & Margaret Krummel; son, David; father-in-law, Erhardt Berwald; mother-in-law, Dora; brothers-in-law, Glen Berwald & Norman VanBlaricom; sister-in-law, Carol Andrus; aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and friends. Survived by loving husband of 64 years, Eugene; son, William (Cathy) Berwald; daughters, Deborah (Don) Reiter, & Barbara Berwald; daughter-in-law, Lynne Berwald; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Jeanette Krummel, Diane (Lloyd) Hanson, & Bruce Krummel; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and family. Geri was a compassionate woman with a heart of gold, generous, loving, providing, gracious, beautiful inside and out. Geri enjoyed traveling, fishing, entertaining, reading books and being with family. She was active on the church Ladies Guild and Catering Committee, and numerous fundraising events. She was loved by many and will be sadly missed. She'll be forever etched in our hearts. Visitation from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Sandberg Funeral Home, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Due to limitations of the church a Private Family Service will be held.
