Anne Marie (Mucciaccio) Sorgi, 76, of Abington, MA died peacefully at home on May 6th surrounded by friends & family. Born in Dedham, MA the eldest child of Charles and Mary (Costello) Mucciaccio.
She was the devoted wife of Paul Sorgi, Sr. for 57 years and the loving sister of Charles Mucciaccio (Millis, MA) and Carol Larrabee (Runnemede, NJ). She is survived by her three children and their families; Paul Sorgi Jr., his wife Anne Marie and their children Nicholas and Alessandra (Abington, MA), Andrea Sorgi, her husband Donald Hamann and their children Zachary and Robyn (Acton, MA) and Carla Sorgi-Gorman, her husband Scott Gorman and their daughter Abygale (Abington,MA).
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours, Sunday, May 9th in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman from 4pm-7pm. They are also invited to the funeral mass being held at Saint Bridget Parish in Abington on Monday, May 10th at 9am.
Anne was a caring and generous soul who was well known for providing a meal for those in need so in lieu of flowers, please donate to a local food bank in her memory.
