Sandra L. (Desrosiers) Bickford, 73, of Worcester, died Friday, May 7th in UMass Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dalton E. Bickford, Sr.; her son, Shawn D. Bickford and his wife, Patricia of Auburn; a daughter, Crystal Waters and her husband, Michael of Worcester; three brothers, Louis Desrosiers and his wife, Bonnie of Sturbridge, Joseph Desrosiers of Thompson, CT and Richard Desrosiers and his wife, Maryann of Woodstock, CT and five grandchildren, Dale, Zack, Adam, Sadie and Dalton. She was predeceased by a son, Dalton E. Bickford, Jr. in 2004.
Sandra was born in Worcester, the daughter of Louis and Pearl (Kunkel) Desrosiers. She was a member of the former St. Casimir's Church and enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and loved doing crafts with them as well as taking them fishing and to feed the ducks and geese. Sandra also was an avid gardener who spent countless hours tending to her flowers.
Her funeral is on Tuesday, May 11th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her funeral Mass at 11:00 am. in St. Joseph's Church, Oxford Street, Auburn. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 8:30 until 10:30 a.m. on the day of the funeral at the funeral home.
