Lois “Darlene” Foreman, 63, of Tifton passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, at her residence. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Mrs. Foreman at a later date.
Born February 12, 1958, in Tifton, Mrs. Foreman was the daughter of the late Wilburn Thomas Boyd, Sr. and Lois Darlene Purvis Boyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Lawrence Vernon Foreman; four brothers, Johnny Ray Boyd, John Allen Boyd, Ernest Boyd and Kenneth Boyd; one sister, Betty Sue Herald; a brother-in-law, Benny Crum; a nephew, James Edward “Doodle” Hall Jr.; and two nieces, Pamela Jean Wicker and Alma Lee Boyd Beech. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She loved to fish and spend time with her kids and grandkids.
Mrs. Foreman is survived by one son, James Foreman, Sr. of McRae; a son-in-law, Walter Conner of Tifton; two daughters, Bessie Conner of Enigma and Melinda Robinson and her husband Jay of North Carolina; six brothers and four sisters-in-law, Larry and Kathy Boyd, Jimmy and Linda Boyd, W. T. And Tracey Boyd, Ronnie Sr. and Mamie Boyd, Albert Foreman and Ron Foreman; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Barbara and Franklin Payne, Susie Crum and Flossie and Keith Boyd; seven sisters-in-law and their husbands, Darlene and Charlie Blevins, Debbie and Ricky Scott, Laura Foreman, Jeanette Boyd, Janet Boyd, Carol Anne Boyd and Brinda and Ronald Mansell; her best friend, Wendell Mullins; her special friend, Jackson Lee Harnage; ten grandchildren, Wesley McClellan, Daniel McClellan, Tristian Foreman (Darius), Kyle Brown, Krustian Conner, Tonya Lewis, James Foreman Jr., Brandy Foreman, Laura Foreman, Matthew Johns; three great-grandchildren, Treyvonne Riggins, Lee Lewis and Linda Michelle Conner; and many friends, nieces and nephews.
