Bruce Gaudet, 63 of Londonderry, NH passed away May 5, 2021 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Bruce was born November 3, 1957 in Waltham, MA and was a son of the late James L. and Jeanne (Lerette) Gaudet. He was raised and educated in Waltham where he met his wife Cheryl.
Bruce was a great boss and was loved by his employees. Bruce was employed as a Manufacturing Manager at MKS Instruments Co. He was previously employed for over 20 years as an Operations Manager with Wire Belt Corp. and with Tark Inc. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, canoeing, biking, and camping. Bruce also loved tinkering and building inventions for his kids in his workshop. He enjoyed playing cards, darts, horseshoes, and cornhole. He loved grilling and sitting by the fire. He was very involved with all his kid’s activities and was always their biggest fan. Above all he loved spending time with his beloved family and sharing his passion for the outdoors with his daughters.
Members of the family include his wife of 36 years, Cheryl (Fenton) Gaudet, his four daughters, Kelsey, Darlene, Tiffany and Sara Gaudet, his sister Sharon Truesdale, brothers Mark and his wife Lynn, Christopher and wife Diane, Richard Gaudet (dec) and wife Kathy, and Lincoln Gaudet and his wife Deanne. He was also very close with his cousins Mike and Nancy Highland and uncles and aunts Betty Highland, Jane and Jack Moore, Norma and Tom (dec), and Grace and Buddy (dec).
On his wife’s side, he is loved by his mother-in-law, Princess Fenton and her husband David Fenton (dec), sister-in-law and her husband, Lori and Donald Nelson, his brother-in-law David (dec) and his wife Lynda, and his wife’s aunt, Joyce and her husband Norman Hansen. He is also loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.
Bruce was the best father, husband, and friend. He made the best of everyday and loved to make everyone laugh. He has touched so many people throughout his life and he will be dearly missed.
Calling hours were held Sunday May 9, 2021 from 5 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes, 290 Mammoth Road Londonderry, NH, funeral services were held Monday at 10 am in the funeral home with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry, for those in attendance, face mask usage and social distancing are recommended.
