Obituary

Pamela Jean (Sims) Costello, 64, of Franklin MA died May 5th at Milford Regional Medical Center with her family by her side, following a long illness. She was the wife of Robert M. Costello for the past 40 years.

Born in Ft. Riley, Kansas, October 13, 1956, the daughter of Joanne M. (Rappa) Sims of Franklin and the late George C. “Smokie” Sims, Pamela had lived for most of her life in Franklin. She was a graduate of Franklin High School. Pamela had been an administrative assistant for Dufficy Enterprises for many years.

Pamela enjoyed traveling with her family, any and all things Disney, going to concerts with her girls, especially Huey Lewis and Backstreet Boys, the Patriots, Hallmark movies, floating in her pool and her cats. She also made sure to enjoy a bowl of ice cream every single night!

In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her daughters, Kristin Costello and her significant other Timothy Smith of Uxbridge, Katie Costello and her significant other Carlos Alves of Hopedale and Kerri Costello of Franklin. Pamela was the strongest woman and the best wife, mother, and grandmother! She was the grandmother of Hunter Alves of Hopedale who lit up her life the past two years. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph Sims of Manteca, California and Steven Sims and his wife Pamela of Franklin.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own.

Her graveside services will be held on Wednesday , May 12 in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin at 1:00p.m. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, May 11 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-7 p.m.
