Ann M. (Chelotti) Sanford, age 86, of Medford passed away on Tuesday, May 4, at Kaplan Family Hospice House of Danvers. Raised and educated in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Rinaldo and Hazel (Ellsworth) Chelotti. Ann has lived in Medford for the past 15 years. She loved dogs and would raise and show them. Ann also loved camping, going to the beach, and gardening.
Ann was the beloved wife of the late Donald Sanford, and the devoted mother of Lisa Sanford of East Sandwich, and Christine Fahey and her husband Bill of Medford. She was the loving grandmother of Nicholas "Nik" Sanford, and Jacqueline "Jax" Horner and her significant other, Cam Dalton. Ann was the dear sister of Rinaldo "Snookie" Chelotti and his late wife Irene, the late Jean Chelotti, and the late Stephen "Stevie" Chelotti and his surviving wife Geraldine "Gerry." She is also survived by her nephews, Stephen "Rocky" Chelotti Jr., Anthony "Tony" Chelotti, and her fur-baby Yogi.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Ann’s name to M.S.P.C.A - Angell Memorial Animal Hospital, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130, or to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
