Robert Francis Anderson, Jr. 65, of Sarasota Florida, formerly of Medway died May 5 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital , Boston following a long battle with cancer.
Born in Milford, April 8, 1956, the son of Mary N. (Runion) Anderson of Medway, Mr. Anderson was raised in Medway and had lived in Florida for the past twelve years.
Robert was a graduate of Medway High School and Northeastern University.
He had been a neo natal respiratory therapist at several Boston Hospitals and also in Florida.
Robert had been a season ticket holder for the New England Patriots for many years. He was also a fan of the Celtics and Bruins.
Robert also enjoyed his motorcycle and going to the beach.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his sister Cathy D’Alesio of Medway.
He is also survived by his nephews, Jason D’Alesio of Upton, and Brian D’Alesio of Medway, and grand nephews, Jax and Jett D’Alesio of Medway, his Aunt Alice Faulkner of Henderson, NC, Uncle Bruce Runion of St. Robert’s, MO and Aunt Susan Turner of Peoria, Il.
Robert is also survived by many cousin and friends in Massachusetts and Florida.
A celebration of life will be held a later date.
