FALL RIVER… Peter J. Sousa, 58, of Fall River passed away, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Fall River Healthcare in Fall River, Massachusetts.
He was born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores a son of Maria Isabel (Pimental Pereira) Sousa of Somerset and the late Manuel DeSousa and had lived in Somerset for most of his life.
Mr. Sousa was employed at Charlton Memorial Hospital for many years in the Housekeeping Department.
Survivors include his mother, a son Peter J. Sousa, Jr. of Fall River, a daughter Amanda Remy of Somerset, 2 brothers: Gabriel Sousa of Somerset, Louis Sousa of Fall River, a sister Alzira Sousa of Somerset, 3 grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward Sousa.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 at11:00 A.M. at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be Monday from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset.
