LONDONDERRY---Rosemary Jackson Woodman died on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at home surrounded by loving family.
Rosemary was born February 25, 1926, to Hiram Warren and Dorothy (Collieson) Jackson in Lexington, MA. She graduated from Laconia High School in 1943 and earned an Associate of Arts degree from Vermont Junior College in 1945.
After graduation she became a teacher, working first with children, and then later leading adult classes in flower design. She was a member of the Old Homestead Garden Club for six years, then the Derry Garden Club for more than 40 years where she started the Ladybugs floral design classes.
Rosemary is survived by her husband of 72 years, Arthur; their sons Eric Woodman and his wife, Lynne of Allenstown, NH, and David Woodman of New York City; her grandchildren Susan and Margaret Kennedy, Amanda, Amelia, Justin and James Woodman, Justin Breton and his wife Krystle, and Jeremy Breton and his wife Dreonna. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and great-grandchildren. Rosemary is predeceased by her parents, her daughter Ellen, and her brothers Sterling and David.
Services will be private.
