TEWKSBURY: Donald W. Morris, age 51, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away unexpectedly at the Lahey Clinic Hospital in Burlington on Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

He was the loving father of Julya C. Morris of Nashua, NH.

Born in Lowell on November 9, 1969, he was the son of Dorothy (MacDonald) (Morris) Barbieri of Augusta, ME and the late Donald W. Morris.

Donny was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury Public Schools.

He worked for many years as a Contractor in the Residential Construction field.

Donny enjoyed history, playing golf with his brothers, listening to music, spending as much time as possible enjoying friends and family, and had a sweet tooth for candy. He will forever be loved and remembered for his empathy, his sympathy, his generosity, and his willingness to put others needs before his own.

In addition to his daughter and mother, he leaves behind his companion, Melissa Ward of Tewksbury; siblings, Robert J. Morris and his wife Dawn of Billerica, Steven A. Morris of Vass, NC, Kenneth E. Morris of Winslow, ME, Samantha A. Marini and her husband Peter Doyle of Lowell, and Amanda L. Barbieri of Bowdoinham, ME; his former wife Tammi Boudreau; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 8, from 9-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Masks, social distancing and gathering limitations are necessary.

At the request of the family, private funeral services will be held. Kindly Omit Flowers. Donations honoring his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

There will be a celebration of life of Donny’s life on Saturday, May 8th starting at 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Details will be available at the funeral home. Some refreshments and snacks will be provided however, feel free to bring your own beverages if desired.
