BELFORTI Joseph C. of Wellesley, passed away on April 27, 2021. Beloved son of the late Joseph C. and Eva (Preservati) Belforti.
Loving brother of the late Jane L. Belforti and the late John R. Belforti. Joe grew up in Framingham. He attended various prestigious schools, Marian High School, West Andover Academy and University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He excelled in baseball, football, and basketball.
He was a member of the Natick Lions Club, and the Italo American Club of Wellesley. Joe was an avid Atlanta Braves Fan. Most of all, Joe was an inspiration to many by rising above his challenging illness.
Funeral services will be held for Joseph as well as his late sister Jane Belforti who passed away on January 6, 2021. The services are as follows.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 477 Washington St. Wellesley on Wednesday, May 5th from 9:30am-10:30am. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley at 11am. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Framingham Heart Study 73 Mt. Wayte Ave, Framingham MA 01701.
