Agnes (Avila) Drouin, 82, of New Bedford passed away Friday April 30, 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Dartmouth, the daughter of the late Maria A. (Silva) Chaves and Joao Avila and stepdaughter of the late Antonio Chaves, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Agnes was formerly employed as a seamstress at several area textile mills, including Ronnie Manufacturing.
She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and line dancing.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Pimentel, Kevin Kubik, and Donald Drouin; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Frank Kubik, and her sister, Dorothy Horta.
