In Taunton, suddenly, April 27, 2021 Jolene (Uva) Halpin loving wife of Thomas Halpin died at Morton Hospital at the age of 71. Born in Biddeford, Maine, Jolene was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Anderson) Uva. Jolene was a graduate of Dorchester High School class of 1967. She was a retired program director for Beta Community Partnership Inc in Taunton. Jolene enjoyed reading on the beach, Scusset Beach, spending time in Florida and especially being with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was the mother of Tammy Halpin of Raynham, Thomas Halpin of Raynham and Scott Halpin of Raynham. Loving grandmother of Alyssa Jolene Halpin, Cole Beloli-Halpin, Riley Beloli-Halpin, Trentyn Halpin, Quintyn Halpin and her great grandson Keagan Previlon. Sister of Rose Rines of Taunton, Jackie Nadeau of Wareham, Joseph Uva of Taunton and the late Annmarie Carney. Aunt of Kevin Uva of Orlando, FL and many other nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Monday May 3rd from 4-7 PM. Interment will be held at the National Cemetery in Bourne MA on Friday May 7th at 10:15 AM.
