Mrs. Judith Ann (Medugno) Carroll, age 74, a former teacher and medical billing instructor, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley, after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of James M. Carroll, with whom she had celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary this past September.
She was born in Everett on March 9, 1947, the daughter of the late William and Eleanor (Cutter) Medugno, and raised in Somerville. She graduated Somerville High School with the Class of 1965, and later earned an Associates Degree from Middlesex Community College. In addition to her duties as a mother of four, she worked as a kindergarten teacher, a nursery school aid, an adult education computer teacher, and finally as a medical billing instructor.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, James Michael Carroll and his wife, Remy, of Sterling, MA, Kimberly Marchand and her husband, Russell of Hudson, NH, Scott Carroll of Tewksbury, and Brian “Toby” Carroll and his wife, Andrea of Hillsboro, NH; eight grandchildren, Thomas, Hunter, Sean, Cole, Aliyah, Anthony, Adreanna, and Abagail; a brother, William J. Medugno of Tewksbury; and several nieces and nephews.
While following social distancing guidelines and wearing a mask, all are welcome to attend her visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1 at the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts.
