Paul J. Carriere, Age 86, of Woburn, formerly of Washington, NH, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. Born in Boston in 1934, he was the son of the late Henry and Esther (Bean) McKenna. He was the beloved husband of the late Joanne (Aaron) Carriere and survived by his partner, Jan Walsh, of Washington, NH. Paul grew up in Westwood and was the class President of the class of 1954. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran and graduated from Bentley University. Paul's love was spending time with family and friends. Sharing a fantastic meal with those he loved brought him the greatest joy and memories (Thanksgiving in NH). In his later years, oil painting was his passion which he shared with anyone who would like one of his works of art. Paul is survived by his devoted children: Denise Carriere, Michelle Gogliettino and her late husband John, Paul and Maryruth Carriere. Grandfather of Edward Soderlund and his wife Nicole, Nikki Soderlund, James Carriere, and McKenna Carriere. He was the dear brother of David Carriere and Marion Connolly and the late Josephine Clarkson and Jane Conley as well as loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and a host of longtime friends Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer organization.
