Immacula Valcin of Hyde Park passed away on April 27, 2021. Immacula was born in Jacmel, Haiti on December 27, 1948. Born to the late Altierry Romain and the late Saintanise Chery, she was the fourth child of five children. In 1970 she migrated to Freeport Bahamas. Soon thereafter she entered the United States in 1972 seeking more opportunities for a better life. Immacula had worked as a nursing assistant for many years before she became ill in 1985. She battled with her illness and was hospitalized often until she moved to Boston to live with her sibling.
Devoted mother of Violette Chery, John Fenelon, Elvie Fenelon, Marc Junior Valcin. Mother-in-law of Barbara Fenelon. Loving grandmother of Jonathan Fenelon, Olivia Fenelon, Ashley Fenelon. Dear sister of Madeline Laroche, Merencia Syverain, Viergella Milord, Franky Pierre.
In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the City of Boston, Funeral services will be held at the Joseph Russo & Bros. Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Hwy, Roslindale on Wednesday, May 3rd at 11:00 AM. Interment in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Roslindale. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours will be held in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Hwy., Roslindale, on Wednesday, May 5th at 9: 30 AM prior to the service.

• All visitors (including the family) have a restriction of (60) sixty guests allowed in the funeral home at one time.
• All visitors must always wear a MASK in the funeral home and on the funeral home property.
• All visitors will follow SAFE DISTANCING (recommendation of (6) six feet)
• All visitors may pause at the Casket/Urn and then EXIT the funeral home.
• All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
• All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter.
