FALL RIVER – Richard A. Silvia Jr., age 31, passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2021. Born in Fall River, he was the beloved son of Elizabeth and Randy Rapoza and Richard A. Silvia, Sr. Richie was an avid sports fan, who also love to play sports, including fishing. He was always the life of the party who brought joy to anyone he came across. He was a genuine person who was always there for anyone, despite of what happens. He was always a hard worker and team player with great work ethic. Most of all Richie loved his family, especially his son, nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his son Austen Connor Medeiros of Westport; siblings Joshua Tylor Silvia and Chrysten Lynne Silvia; half-brother Gabre Ismeal-Winters; grandparents Antonio and Cidalia Carreiro and Dorothy Silvia; niece and nephews Alina and Leon Silvia and Cole Brady; as well as his aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends, who will sadly miss him. He was predeceased by his grandfather Antone Silvia.
His calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, April 30th from 4-7 P.M. with a service at 6 P.M. Cremation to follow. www.rogersfuneral.com.
