Obituary

ROSIER – Denise, age 96, of Dorchester, formerly of Maissade, Haiti. Entered into rest Sunday, April 25, 2021, after a short illness.

Beloved daughter of the late Charles Rosier and Isemelie Archil. Loving mother of Martha Rosier and her husband Reverend Harry Jean-Jacques, Farrol Lacorne and his wife Violene Lacorne, Junie Jean, and the late Marie Tellus. Caring sister of the late Victomer Rosier. Dear niece of the late Cite Rosier. Devoted grandmother of Marthe, Harry, Michael, Patricia, Farah, Faaron, Darvenne, Zrahyon, Julie and Ben. Cherished great-grandmother of Isaiah, Elijah, Aniya, Isabele, and Ella.

She was a God-fearing woman and an active member of her Church(s), Bethesda Haitian Baptist Church, and the Haitian Baptist Church of Rhode Island. She opened a babysitting business in her home to support the working parents of her church community when she lived in Rhode Island. Denise enjoyed listening to and singing gospel music and citing Bible verses in her free time. She always took the time to pray for her family and friends and anyone in need of prayer.

In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the City of Boston, Funeral services will be held at the Joseph Russo & Bros. Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Hwy, Roslindale on Monday, May 3rd at 11:00 AM. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery, Roslindale. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours will be held in the Joseph Russo & Bros. Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Hwy., Roslindale, on Monday, May 3rd at 10: 00 AM prior to the service.

*** COVID-19 Guidelines for Funeral Home Capacity and Service Restrictions***
• All visitors (including the family) have a restriction of (60) sixty guests allowed in the funeral home at one time.
• All visitors must always wear a MASK in the funeral home and on the funeral home property.
• All visitors will follow SAFE DISTANCING (recommendation of (6) six feet)
• All visitors may pause at the Casket/Urn and then EXIT the funeral home.
• All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
• All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter.
