ROCHESTER- Glenda Marie Walter passed away at age 67 after a long-fought illness on April 26, 2021 surrounded by those she loved most in this world. She was born in Houlton, Maine on August 18, 1953 to Pauline and Owen Little. Glenda was one of fourteen siblings. She attended and graduated from Hodgdon High school in Houlton, Maine. After graduation she moved to Connecticut where she met and married her husband James Walter in 1976.
In her spare time Glenda loved crafts of all kinds, especially knitting, crocheting projects, and cross-stitch. Glenda loved going to the lake and enjoying her Pepsi or Snapple. She lived and breathed each day for her son Jeffrey and her granddaughters. Her extreme strong-will and determination helped her fight each day until the very end.
Glenda is predeceased by her mother Pauline, her father Owen, brother Charlie, and brother Bernard. She leaves behind her husband James of 44 years, her son Jeffrey and his wife Christi-Anne of Dover, two granddaughters Eternity and Nasia, sister Ferne of Bangor, sister Candy of Houlton, sister Bernadette of Houlton, sister Paula of Houlton, brother Jake of Houlton, brother Chris of Houlton, brother David of Houlton, and many nieces and nephews.
