Philip A. Baldassini, age 62, of Braintree passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021. Phil was raised and educated in W. Quincy. After Highschool he worked at Quincy Hospital for many years prior to attending Eastern Nazarene College where he received a bachelor’s degree in 2000.
Phil started his family in W. Quincy and has lived in Braintree for the last 20 years. He enjoyed working at Clark House Nursing Center in Westwood for 18 years. Phil enjoyed cooking and working on his home in Braintree.
Philip is survived by his wife of 20 years Denise Baldassini of Braintree, his children Melissa Baldassini and her significant other Rocco of Wareham, Philip J. Baldassini of Hanover, Daniel Baldassini of Plymouth, Alison Shine and her husband John of Mansfield, and Christian Moran of Braintree, and her grandchildren Kora, Rocco, Mia, and Elizabeth. Phil is also survived by his former wife Margaret Baldassini, his siblings Richard Baldassini, Barbara Kasanoff, and Patricia Szymaniak, and his brother-in-law Richard McCarthy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visitation for Philip on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 9-11am in the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home located at 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth, MA. The funeral service and burial for Phil will be private due to the limited Covid-19 capacity of the funeral home. Burial will be in Plain Street Cemetery, Braintree.
