Claudia C. (Lavoie) Lapointe, 67, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday April 21, 2021. She was the wife of Roger Lapointe.
Born in Newport, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Arthur and Jeannette (Charette) Lavoie, she was raised in Fall River and Brockton and graduated from Brockton High School in 1971.
Claudia was employed at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She thoroughly enjoyed her many years working in healthcare, taking care of people when they needed it most.
Her family meant the world to her and she did everything for them. She loved to travel, her favorite locations being Jamaica and Cancun. Her favorite place to be was at her campsite. In her younger days, she loved to ride motorcycles.
She is survived by husband Roger of New Bedford, her daughter Dee, her granddaughter Ryeisa, her grandson Xavier, and her great-grandson Derrick, all of South Carolina.
