DRISCOLL-GAINS, STELLA passed away after a short battle with cancer at Mt. Auburn hospital in Cambridge, MA on April 24, 2021. She is survived by her husband James Gains Jr. and her children Stacey Marie Collorone, Shawn Matthew Driscoll, James Gains III and her grandson Lorenzo Collorone.
Predeceased by her parents Hilary Michael Driscoll and Barbara Ann (McManus) Driscoll and her son Dennis Dow Jr.
Survived by her siblings Amanda Hall, Robert M. Driscoll, Donna Benson, Debra Burke-Flye, Michael Driscoll, Cathalene Driscoll-Panno as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her siblings Thomas Driscoll, Steven Driscoll, William Driscoll, Barbara Ann Robards and Pamela Driscoll.
Stella was a long time resident of Waltham, MA before moving to Hudson. She drove a Taxi for many years at Central Square Taxi and Smurfs Taxi of Waltham.
She loved to play bingo at Foxwoods and loved camping but loved her family most of all.
Per Stella’s wishes there will be funeral services but a Celebration of Life in the near future. She will be missed by so many who love her - Fly High.
