In Taunton, Howard “Pat” Barbrick, Age 64, passed away peacefully in his home while surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy struggle with cancer. Pat is survived by his loving wife Noreen (Alvilhiera) of Taunton. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Howard & Margaret (Moore) Barbrick. Pat had resided all his life in Taunton. Pat was a retired Commonwealth of MA employee, following his retirement; he worked for Empire Auto and also helped his cousins at their bakery. Pat found joy in delivering the day old bread to those in need. He enjoyed all local sports teams, going for walks, being outdoors, and above all cherished his time with family, especially his beloved grandchildren. Pat leaves his children Patrick Barbrick and his wife Julie of Taunton and Kayla Allen and husband Philip of Warwick, RI. and step son Brandon Skwarto of Taunton. He also leaves his grandchildren Connor and Charlotte Copson and Brother Martin Maloney of Wallingford, CT. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton MA on Saturday, May 1st at 10am. Followed by a funeral mass at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton at 11 am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours at the funeral home on Friday from 5-7pm. Burial is private.
