FALL RIVER – Izaltina (Sally) DelValle, age 92 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Aristides (Ted) Del Valle, the former Wife of the late Manuel R. Souza, the daughter of the late Manuel C. & Isabel (Braga) Medeiros, and the step-daughter of the late William Medeiros.
Prior to retiring, Sally worked 40 years as a Sewing Machine Operator, having worked for the former Schneierson & Sons Mfg. Sally loved to cook, especially for her family and friends. She also loved going to flea markets and wintering in Florida.
Sally is survived by her 7 children: Kathleen Wasylyk of Taunton, Steven A. Souza (wife Colleen) of Assonet, Thomas Souza (late wife Deborah) of Fall River, David DelValle (wife Charlotte) of Fall River, Lisa DelValle Halcarz (husband Scott) of New Hampshire, Melanie DelValle of Fall River, and Eli DelValle of Fall River; her brothers: Thomas C. Medeiros of Fall River and Joseph Medeiros (wife Vilma) of Fall River, the late Humberto (Bisco) C. Medeiros, and the late David C. Medeiros; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
Sally’s funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Friday, April 30th at 9:00 A.M. for family, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10:00 A.M. for all to attend.
