Debbie Mutz, 58 of Merrimack, NH passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Debbie was born in Boston, MA on January 16, 1963 to Beverly and Francis Finnegan and grew up in Stoneham, MA. She enjoyed camping with her friends and family, and spent her summers at Grandview Campground, where she met her soul mate, Bill Mutz. They were married on September 12th, 1987 and have enjoyed over 40 years of camping adventures, Disney trips, Love, and family together.
They moved to Merrimack, NH in 1989 and built a family there. When they became empty-nesters, they began learning ballroom dancing, and found a “dance family” at a local studio. Neither she nor her husband ever imagined themselves performing or competing as dancers, but they have enjoyed nearly 10 years of participating in group performances, galas and balls, and happy memories with their friends.
Debbie is known for her willingness to help and support others. She has always stood up for respecting others and for standing up for oneself with elegance. Her passions include trips to Disney World, fashion, and sewing. Many friends sought her out for tips with planning Disney vacations, learning to sew, and recommendations for where to bring their family for a memorable camping trip.
She lived a life of joy, fun, and love. Debbie was a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed every day, and her family will never forget to have fun and seek out adventures together just as she would want.
Debbie is survived by her husband William, daughter BreAna, mother and father Beverly and Francis Finnegan and her brother Michael Finnegan.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 2 – 5pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks, minimize contact, and maintain social distancing.
