Aiden D. Blanchard, age 12, passed away in Chicopee. He was born on March 14, 2009, a son of the late David J. Blanchard who passed on June 5, 2020. He is survived by his mother Michelle Blanchard of Chicopee; 4 brothers Joshua Blanchard and his fiancé Jennifer Prescott of Chicopee, Adam Blanchard, Mathew Blanchard, and Tyler Blanchard of Chicopee; and 1 sister Ciaira Blanchard of Chicopee; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Aiden was a student of Bellamy Middle School having spent his elementary school years at Stefanik Elementary School where he enjoyed math, science, and music. Aiden was a very caring and passionate boy who enjoyed making others happy. He was an active participant in various sports and activities. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Wed., April 28, 2021 in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine St., West Springfield, from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
