Roger E. Bonvouloir, 82, of Tequesta, FL passed away on Tuesday April 13th in his home. He was the husband of the late Lorraine A. (Peloquin) Bonvouloir. They had been married for 48 years before she passed.
Born in Central Falls, RI, a son of the late Leopold and Gertrude (Perreault) Bonvouloir, Roger had lived in Florida for 6 years, previously living in North Carolina, Rhode Island and his beloved home in the mountains of New Hampshire. He was a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and made his career in the furniture industry, retiring from Thomasville Furniture Industries in 2007 after more than 30 years of employment.
Roger leaves his sons, Claude Bonvouloir and his wife, Luanne, of Jupiter, FL, Dennis Bonvouloir of Jamestown, RI and Mark Bonvouloir of Cumberland, RI as well as his six grandchildren Nicole, Alexandra, Lucien, Justin, Todd and Noel. He is survived by his brothers Jean, Marc and Paul Bonvouloir.
A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Thursday April 22nd at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, RI. Due to COVID regulations seating is limited. Face masks and social distancing is required. Burial will be private. Visitation respectfully omitted.
