Constance Phyllis (Angelo) O’Connor, of both Holden, Massachusetts and Naples, Florida, passed peacefully into the hands of Our Lord on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, surrounded by love in her home with her husband and children by her side.
Born on January 2, 1936, in Shortsville, New York, an enclave of the Town of Manchester, to Joseph L. Angelo and Constance Mary (Caruso) Angelo, Connie was raised and lived for many years in Victor, New York. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, William O’Connor; her loving children, Michael D. (Mark Lessinger) O’Connor, MaryJo O’Connor Frisoli; and her precious twin grandchildren, L. Morgan Frisoli and Michael L. (Jeanette) Frisoli; extended family, and many friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Constance Mary (Caruso) Angelo; brother, Joseph L. Angelo, Jr.; sister, Geraldine (Angelo) Doherty; niece, Carrie Angelo; and son-in-law, Lawrence W. Frisoli.
Connie began her professional life as a cosmetologist, and in her determination to become a teacher, she graduated first from SUNY Geneseo, then earned a Master's degree in education from Nazareth College. She pursued her teaching career in Fairport, New York. When she retired from teaching, Connie and her husband launched and operated A-Temp Service, an HVAC service company in Massachusetts.
Connie was a yoga devotee and eventually became qualified as an instructor. She was an instrument-rated recreational pilot, and with Bill spent many happy hours flying their airplane “Yankee.” A very talented artist, she loved painting and over the years produced an amazing body of work. Also, In Naples, she served dutifully as president of Grand Cypress III Condo Association and served as Secretary on the Master Board of Cypress Woods Golf & Country Club. She will be missed by all.
Memorial services will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 115 Maple Ave., Victor, New York, on MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021, at 10 A.M. , or live stream at www.stpatricksvictor.org.
