Linda S. (Cliff) DuHamel, "Emma", 64, of Chelmsford, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away on Tuesday, April 13 peacefully at the Lahey Clinic after a long illness.
She was born in Tewksbury on August 10, 1956 and was a daughter of the late William J. Cliff and the late Ann Marie (Nichols) Cliff. She was raised and educated in the Tewksbury area and was a graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School.
Linda worked at the Tewksbury State Hospital in environmental services for over 25 years before illness forced her retirement. She cherished her time spent working at the Tewksbury State Hospital and was very proud of her work and valued the relationships that grew from her workplace. She also loved cars and to shop. More than anything though, her grandchildren were the loves of her life and are her legacy. Her time spent with them was her favorite time and she will be sorely missed by all who loved her, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 3 children, Lisa DuHamel and her partner, Joshua Dechane, of Chelmsford, Ashley DuHamel and her partner, Cesar Cespedes of Chelmsford and Norman DuHamel Jr. of Lowell; her former husband, Norman DuHamel of Bradford and her beloved grandchildren, Victor, Seth, Emilio, David, Makenzie and Cali. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary, Carol, Annie, Bonnie and William; many nieces and nephews, and her family of friends at the Tewksbury State Hospital.
She was predeceased by her sister Brenda.

Her Funeral service will be live-streamed, it will be on our Facebook page, and appear shortly before 7pm on Tuesday April 20, 2021, it will be available for viewing live, and can be watched after as well.
