WORCESTER___ JoAnne M. (Wedder) Sena, 82, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was born on August 23, 1938. She attended Commerce High School. She worked for the Sheraton House, Northbridge Care and Retirement Home, and as a Warden for the Worcester Election Committee for the past 40 years. She was an avid party planner, she loved shopping, loved to travel and her greatest passion was gift giving and the joy it brought to all she knew. Christmas was her favorite time; she would have presents for everyone. She never missed a celebration.
JoAnne leaves behind her devoted husband and the love of her life for the past 65 years Peter F. Sena. While Pete was at his business as a barber on Grafton Street, JoAnne would pass by and it was love at first sight. Shortly after they began dating and were soon married on July 4, 1955.
She is also survived by her children: Gina M. Richard and her husband Charles R., Brenda A. Tomasetta and her husband Wayne, Kenneth J. Sena and his wife Rosemary, and Peter J. Sena and his wife Tasha; her grandchildren, Russell, Joshua, Jamey, Jacob, Nick, Faith, Kenneth II, Melissa, Tatjana and Talya; her great-grandchildren Ethan, Jaina, Kelsey, Cam and Mia. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jessica.

Funeral Services were held privately. Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of your choice.
