WAYLAND: John C. Cincotti, 81, died peacefully and comfortably on Monday, April 12, 2021 following a period of declining health.
He was born on December 23, 1939 in Brookline the son of the late Giacomo “Jack” Cincotti and Eleonora “Helen” (DePascale) Cincotti.
John is survived by his wife of 23 years, Susan J. (DelVecchio) Cincotti of Wayland, formerly of Rhode Island.
He was the father of Giacomo “Jackie” Cincotti, Carl Cincotti, Mariaelena Cincotti, Richard “Richie” Cincotti, Domenico Cincotti, Eleonora “Ellie” Cincotti, Joseph Gaffney, Albert “Albie” Cincotti, and the late John C. Cincotti, Jr who died in 2009. Step-father of Michael Onoyan and Ashley Onoyan. He was the grandfather of 9 grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter.
John spent his formative years in the North End of Boston, graduated from Christopher Columbus High School and attended college in the Boston area.
He was an accomplished owner and restaurateur of Bella Napoli in the North End for years before retirement. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be fondly loved and remembered by them in the years to come.
Walk through Visitations will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (off Rt, 30), Wayland.
All attending will enter by the front entrance of the funeral home and will be guided to leave through the rear exit of the funeral home. All Covid-19 guidelines will be strictly adhered to. Masks must be worn and social distancing will be observed.
John’s Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin Church and interment in Lakeview Cemetery in Wayland will be private for his family only.
