WEST BOYLSTON-Marjorie M. (Butler) Jernstrom, 88, died Saturday, March 25 at St. Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 68 years, C. William Jernstrom; two daughters, Sandy C. Allen of Worcester and Sharon C. Cahill of West Boylston; a grandson, Michael Allen and many cousins.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Ernest and Ethel (Knutson) Butler and graduated from Commerce High School. Marjorie worked as a bookkeeper at Arnold Bread Shops in West Boylston and Auburn. Previously she worked for Sickel Builders and Marci & Bettina Kids Store. She was a member of Greendale Peoples Church, Vasa Lodge and the Eastern Star. Margie was an avid golfer and bowler and was an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
The funeral will be Tuesday, March 28 at 10:00 AM in FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. Visiting hours will be Monday, March 27 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Beaman Memorial Public Library, 8 Newton St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
