Anna A. (Doyle) Flynn, age 69, passed away after a long battle with Breast Cancer on April 11, 2021 with her three children by her side.
Anna passed away on the 3 year anniversary of the passing of her beloved husband Charles Thomas Flynn. They now share another special day as they did throughout their lives together. Anna was born in Boston, MA to the late Louis David Doyle and Jean Patricia (O’Keefe) Doyle. She was raised in Hyde Park where she met her high school sweetheart Charlie. Anna and Charlie lived in Taunton where they raised their family up until they retired and moved to Carver, MA in 2013.
During Anna’s career she worked as a customer service office manager at Decatur Hopkins in the Myles Standish Industrial Park for many years up until its closing. She loved working with the customers from all over. She also worked as a PCA for several people through her life. She was always helping someone.
Anna will be remembered as a selfless, kind, caring, giving, strong woman. She was the most amazing mother and nana anyone could ask for. She had a way of making you feel special from the moment you met her. She had the kindest, most genuine soul. However, there was nothing Anna loved more than her family.
Anna will be loving remembered by her children; Kelly-Ann Flynn of Taunton, Nicole Lariviere and husband Keith of Taunton and Eric Flynn and girlfriend Gillian Munroe of Woonsocket, RI. She will be most fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Jordan Flynn, Marcel Flynn, Morgan DaPonte, Rae DaPonte, Anthony DaPonte and Jadyn Flynn of Taunton. Her adopted grandson Dakota Girard of Gloucester, MA, step grandchildren; Tyler Lariviere, Ryan Lariviere and Colby Lariviere of Taunton and her great grandson Henry Scott Lariviere.
Anna was cherished by her brothers; Louis Doyle and his wife Jean of North Carolina, and David Doyle and wife Valerie of North Carolina, her brother in law Thomas Flynn and wife Joan of PA, sister in law Valerie Flynn wife of the late James, and Jane Flynn wife of the late Richard, and the late Marilyn Flynn. She was the daughter in law to the late Thomas Morgan Flynn and Katherine (Morgan) Flynn. She will be truly missed by her special aunt Andrea George. Anna had special lifelong friendships especially with Carol and Steve McKenna of Cape Cod and Cherie Sousa (her person). They were once in a lifetime relationships. Anna had many nieces and nephews that she loved and adored.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Thursday, April 22nd from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 23rd at St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10am. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
