Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10 am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park. Obituary
Mrs. Venuti died Friday evening at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton following a lengthy illness. She was born in Putnam, CT a daughter of the late Ted and Blanche (Barton) (Robitaille)Klein and was raised by her late step father Louis Klein and mother in Boston. Mrs. Venuti attended Roxbury Memorial High School.
She had worked at Stride Rite Shoe before her children were born and was a manager at Brighams Ice Cream Stores 1977-1999.
For the past seven years she had been a resident having previously lived in Dedham.
Mrs. Venuti enjoyed reading, sewing and craft. Most important to her was spending time with her family.
When living in Brockton she was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
She was the wife for 58 years of Matthew J. Venuti. Mother of Mark Venuti and his wife Mary of Brockton; Cheryl Walsh and her husband Joe of Brockton; John Venuti and his wife Brenda of Middleboro; and Joseph Venuti and his wife Maureen of Whitman, 11 grandchildren, Jillian, Matthew, Leeanne, Michael, Kayla, Joseph, Julia, Nancy, Melissa, Sheri and Crystal.
