Tewksbury & Florida - Vincent A. Vinny Carbone, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born on December 12, 1939 in Revere, MA. He was a son of the late Vincent M. and Antonette M. (Capone) Carbone. He was raised and educated in Woburn, he graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1958, where he also served as Class President for 4 years. For many years he worked in construction as a carpenter and builder. He worked at the IRS until his retirement. While retired he loved his part time retirement job at Market Basket in Tewksbury and Chelmsford.
He was an avid golfer and longtime member of the Billerica Golf Club. He had a green thumb and was known for his plants and gardening, he could bring any plant back to life. He loved cooking, and was well known for his spaghetti and meat sauce, friends and family would always want him to make a batch. The most precious thing to him was spending time with his wife Jane.
He is survived by the love of his life, Jane Woodman Thibedeau Carbone, of Florida and Tewksbury, his children; Jayne Thibedeau Leather & Daniel Kearns of Florida, Vincent A, Carbone Jr, of Massachusetts, Cheryl A. Carbone of Florida and Colorado, Jill (Thibedeau) and her husband Fred Keenan of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, Robin L. (Carbone) Moler of Texas, Robert Thibedeau of New Hampshire, Heidi L (Carbone) and her husband Robert Kilcoyne of North Andover, Massachusetts, Michael and his wife Karen Thibedeau of New Hampshire, and Daniel Thibedeau of New Hampshire. He is also survived by his 23 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren, all of whom affectionately referred to him as Bampin. He is also survived by his brothers; Alfred Carbone of New Hampshire, and Peter Carbone of Massachusetts, and his sister Janet and her husband Ron Charbonneau of Florida.
