Cheryl L Arthur [Mallory],72, of Ventura, CA, passed away on April 8th, 2021 in her Ventura home surrounded by her family. Cheryl was born in Chelsea, MA to Gary E Mallory and Doris I Mallory [Kiley] on April 29th, 1948. She went to High School at Palm Springs High School and graduated in 1966. She went on to earn an Associate Degree in Education from the College of the Desert.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Richard Arthur of Ventura. Children Michael Arthur, of Ventura, CA; Gregg Arthur, of Upland, CA; and Daniel & Cassandra Arthur, of Barstow, CA. Siblings Kirk & Mary Mallory, of Prescott Valley, AZ; Mark & Laurie Mallory, of Palm Desert, CA; and Kim Mallory, of Spokane, WA. Grandchildren Jonathan Arthur, of San Bernardino, CA; Lekey Mullen, of Barstow, CA; Erin Castellanos of Ventura, CA; Christian Arthur, of Tempe, AZ; Joshua Arthur, of Barstow, CA; and Nathan Arthur of Ventura, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Gary and Doris Mallory, and brother Gary Mallory. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to amazing staff at Community Memorial Hospital and Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service for their compassion and humanity displayed during this difficult time. A private Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on April 18th, in La Quinta, CA.
