Lydia (Botelho) Raposa, age 96 of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2021in the comforts of her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Dennis Raposa and the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Moniz) Botelho.
Prior to retiring, Lydia worked for BO-MAR Mfg. as a Sewing Machine Operator. She was a communicant of St. John of God Church and loved camping and living in Florida.
She is survived by her loving daughter: Karen Raposa and her sister Elizabeth Botelho both of Somerset; nieces and nephews. Lydia was predeceased by her siblings: Mary Barbosa, Albert Botelho, Luis Botelho, Agnes Oliveira, Evelyn Rego, Joseph Botelho, and Manuel Botelho.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Lydia on Thursday, April 15th at 10:00 A.M. in St. John of God Church, Somerset. Interment in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
