Armand J. Bourassa Jr., 80, of Londonderry, NH, passed away peacefully Wednesday April 7, 2021 at All American Assisted Living in Londonderry, NH surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 5, 1941 in Lawrence, MA, a son of the late Armand and Antoinette (Blanchet) Bourassa. Raised in Lawrence, Armand was a graduate of Lawrence High School and later attended floral school. He worked for 37 years for Lucent Technologies. He also was a florist at Budd’s House of Flowers in Methuen, MA and owned his own floral shop, Armand’s Florals for 20 years. He was a long-time member of the Sacred Heart Parish in Lawrence. Armand was more recently a parishioner of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry where he was a member of the choir and did the floral decorations in the Church. He enjoyed arts such as painting and stained glass. Most of all Armand loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Danielle Barrett and husband Daniel of Londonderry, his son, Christopher Bourassa and wife Sharon of Londonderry, five grandchildren, Emily and Nicholas Bourassa and Ryan, Aidan and Nathan Barrett, all of Londonderry; a brother, Normand Bourassa and wife Denise, a sister, Rosemarie Aziz; his long-time companion, Carole Connolly of Londonderry, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 41 years, Monique (Guerin) Bourassa in 2005.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 5 – 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated privately by the family at St. Jude Parish in Londonderry.
