WORCESTER___James D. Yanczewski, 48, of Worcester, passed away suddenly on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021 in his home.
James leaves behind his daughter, Elexis Burgos Yanczewski, his granddaughter, Nialise Pizarro, a son, Tristan Weber, his mother, Primitiva Yanczewski , his brothers and sisters, John R. Yanczewski, Tina M. Yanczewski, Robert Yanczewski, Nancy Amorello and her husband, Joseph and Michael Yanczewski. He also leaves behind his aunt, Maria Goodrow and several loved nieces and nephews, Matthew, Brandon, Isabella, Joshua and Abigail. James was predeceased by his father, John Yanczewski who died in 2011. James was born and raised in Worcester Ma and graduated from St. Mary’s High School.
James was an avid sports fan, football and the Green Bay Packers were always his favorite. He was known for his incredible sense of humor and being the most talkative person in the room. Those who knew him knew he had a good heart. He was a good man, Father, Brother, Son and Friend. He enjoyed time spent with his Mother as well as his daughter and 4 year old granddaughter. He will be loved and missed by many.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Saturday April 10, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. A prayer service will conclude the calling hours. Current guidelines for capacity, wearing facemasks and distancing will be in place.
