Cheryl Ann Brideau, 55, of Worcester, passed away suddenly on April 1st, 2021 in her home.
Cheryl carried many nicknames with her throughout the years, lovingly called “Cheryl Ann” and “Sis” by her parents and siblings, and “Red” by her many, many friends. Her favorite name however, was “Mom”, bestowed upon her by her loving daughter, Tina Marie. Her final and most treasured name was given to her by her grandson Devon and granddaughter Alexa, who called her “Nana”.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Tina Brideau of Rutland; husband Harry Nelson of Worcester; mother Katie Nickerson of CA; sisters Tammy and her husband Chris Wylie of Rutland, Tina Soderman of Barre; Joshanna Goulet of Worcester and Stacey Caruso of West Brookfield; her aunt Kathy Jaillet of FL; two grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph “Skip” and Donna Brideau; sister Nancy Brideau; brother Edward “Choppa” Goulet and grandmother Charlotte Jaillet. She was fortunate enough to have gathered such an incredible number of friendships throughout her short time here, too many to name, but all of whom she considered family.
