In Taunton, Francis J. Sullivan, of Taunton, passed away on April 6, 2021 following a short illness. He was 93 years old. Francis was the husband of the late Miriam (Gardner) Sullivan. He was the brother of the late Daniel Sullivan, and the late Robert Sullivan of Raynham. Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Michael F. Sullivan and Lillian (Cote) Sullivan. He is survived by his son Stephen R. Sullivan and his wife Tricia (Jaros) of East Taunton, his daughter Dianne Cornaglia and husband Jeffrey of Berkley and his late son Michael Sullivan, his sister Joan Clifford of Taunton, his grandchildren Eric Sullivan and wife Katey, Sean Sullivan and wife Jessica, Erin Haley and husband Edward “Ted”. Emily Clanton and husband David, Joshua Cornaglia of Berkley, and his beloved great grandchildren; Bryanna Clanton, Jacob Clanton, Ashlyn Clanton, Noah Sullivan, Declan Haley, Annmarie Sullivan, and Killian Sullivan.
Before retirement, he was a career-long salesman in the food industry, and he also enjoyed being a Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts of America, golfing, and woodworking. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a decorated veteran of World War II, as well as serving on 2 tours of duty in the Korean War.
Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday, April 10th from 8:30-10am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 10:30am. Burial will be in Cedar Knoll Cemetery in East Taunton.
